Great news for our Dutch guests - New direct flights to Dalaman and Bodrum
The vaccination program in The Netherlands, and most EU countries, started slowly but is at full steam right now. On 18 May, a total of 7.8M vaccinations were given, and another million are planned this week. Today, zoo's and amusement parks reopened, which is a great sign for summer to come with more freedom for all.
There's more good news, as hospitalizations and infections reduce rapidly. The 7-day average COVID-19 cases in Turkey have dropped to 11.436 cases. Currently, the 7-day average in The Netherlands stands at 4.989 cases.
Having five times the population of The Netherlands, this effectively means less than half the number of cases per million people. It is clear that Turkey has turned the corner, and a beautiful sailing season looks more than possible.
Turkish Airlines flies two times per week from Amsterdam to Bodrum and Dalaman this summer
And then there's even more good news. Through its Anadolujet brand, Turkish Airlines has announced new direct flights to two airports near our departure harbours. From 10 July, they fly to Dalaman (DLM) and Bodrum (BJV) on Saturday's and Tuesday's.
